About Us

 Lyn Arnold currently serves as the president and chief executive officer of the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Foundation. Lyn joined Tunica County in 2000, having previously served with the DeSoto County Economic Development Council and Hernando Chamber of Commerce / Main Street. She has embarked on an ambitious program of Chamber realignment, creating an industrial development and recruitment program and aggressively pursuing the diversification of Tunica County's economy. Prior to entering the field of economic development, Lyn worked with Entergy Corporation as a district manager.

A native Mississippian, Lyn graduated from high school in Sardis, Miss., and received a bachelor of science degree from

Christian Brothers University in business administration and finance, cum laude. She is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute in Norman, Okla. Lyn is active in many economic development organizations throughout the Southeast, including the Mississippi Economic Development Council, Southern Economic Development Council, Association of Chamber Executives, CoreNet Global, Council of Supply Chain Management, Rotarian and the Mississippi Delta Developers Association.

Lyn received the Paul Harris Fellowship by the Robinsonville Rotary Club in 2002. Lyn and her husband, Jimmy, have two sons and six grandchildren. They are active in the Presbyterian Church. Lyn enjoys golf and reading during her spare time.
