Welcome to Tunica County, a place where quality businesses thrive and family life flourishes. Incorporated in 1836, Tunica County grew from untamed hardwood forests to one of the richest cotton-producing areas in the world. Today, much of the land is available for industrial development.

Just 30 minutes south of Memphis, Tenn., Tunica County is conveniently located at the crossroads of I-40 and I-55, with access to I-69. It is also within a day’s drive of all points in the central United States. Visit our map room for specific details. A major expansion of the airport, including a 7,000-foot runway, has created new transportation options for business or pleasure.

Progressive, small-government entities like Tunica County allow creativity and innovation in supporting industrial and large commercial projects. While the economy is heavily supported by the gaming community, Tunica County is steadily growing other industries to diversify the economy.

Economic development is at the forefront of the county’s efforts to make Tunica a great place to work, live and play. From mega-sites and unique business opportunities to award-winning parks and champion golf courses, Tunica offers families and retirees a quality community to call home.

The Chamber of Commerce provides members with a wide range of benefits, opportunities and activities to help your company succeed.

Whether you are here for business or pleasure, Tunica County has something to offer you. Contact us with any questions or comments.
